I don’t know about you, but I feel like this has been the wettest Spring we’ve had in years. It seems that every Monday I’m looking at photos from various weddings where the photographer had to get creative indoors due to the weather. While the photos still turn out great and what we really love to see is the happy bride and groom, it always makes me a little sad that they had to miss out on the beautiful scenery and photo ops their venue might offer.
It is such a breath of fresh SPRING air to see the beautiful day that this couple got to enjoy, and the breathtaking natural beauty of the venue that hosted it. Cody and Kelly were married in an absolutely stunning March wedding at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Killen, Alabama. The ceremony took place right at the water’s edge. The views were the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous couple’s wedding in the Shoals.
There is so much to love about the wedding, but one of my favorite things is the simplicity of the bridal party’s attire and bouquets. We all love a good pop of color, but I have to admit that black and white is my favorite all time wedding color scheme. It is so elegant and timeless and really allows all of our focus to remain on the couple. And what a handsome couple they are! Don’t you just love the joy and happiness on their faces? Enjoy!
